Re: Rack Bag Suggestions.
I use a one of these: https://www.lomo.co.uk/acatalog/20L-mot ... ml#SID=118
Not got a separate pocket though.
Tough as old boots and big enough for my winter sleeping bag.

Re: Tailfin trunk rack
Dunno how much a Tailfin weighs but my Topeak QR Beam rack is 600g and cost me a tenner 2nd hand.
So long as you don't actually want to put panniers on it, it's very sturdy for a big old drybag with a couple of straps.
Edit: Just checked and bloody hell they're light!

I may be talking aboslute bollocks, but i thought a Shimano 10spd rear mech has the same travel as an 11 spd and were interchangeable. Its the shifter that does the indexing.
But I may have dreamt it / made that up.

Cut it with a Dremel, smoothed the cuts off. Keyed the racked and sprayed it mat black.
Doesn't seem to chip off, bit you may need some touch-up on standby if you're worried.

Re: FS: Basil portland front carrier
Washers are in the plastic bag tied to the rack. I only placed it on for the photo but it's been fully tested in the field (and woods).
It's a bona fide Hoprocker Creation™. I very nearly hung on to it, but it just wouldn't look right on the new bike and it really suited the Ramin.

Re: Anyone else only eat once a day?
Me, my Dad and my daughter apparently have genetics that means we are always hungry! I have to actively stop myself earing continuously.
However my step-daughtet can firget ro eat all day.
I think I'd prefer that.

Glad to hear your having fun with the Ramin Shaf. I used a Bonty XR3 29x2.4 on it for a while with loads of clearance. Quite a narrow rim tho.

Plus sized inner tubes (free!)
The clear out continues and seeing as I no longer own a plus sized bike.... Vittoria Fat MTB Lite Off-Road inner tube 29x3.0-3.5. Two 27.5x3.0 inner tubes (unknown brand). All unused and relatively clean. Located in Surrey/Hampshire borders but can post at your cost (dunno how much...). Feel ...

A mixture of chainsaw lube and white spirits. Just keep applying before each ride until all moving parts have a thick black protective coating.

But if you want to register your interest and if a buyer doesn't appear by Thursday I'll start selling bits off  Prices do not include postage. Post any questions below or drop me a me...

Re: Pinnacle Ramin 3+ Large (yes actually!)
Not a lot of clearance! More than a fag paper but... On 45mm internal diameter rims. Works fine so long as you don't pump the tyres up too hard.
Front rack is a Basil Portland Front Carrier that I've cut down. It works really well using the lower fork bolt. I can still attached the fork cages.

Haha! Well I've got interest in the the front wheel already, and now the frame so a split is looking increasingly likely!
Although I remember having a right struggle finding a cheap way to send a frame before.

Planet X XLS Gravelwanker carbon bike (57cm large)
I'm, selling my large Planet X XLS (57cm large) to make space for a new bike. It is a great gravel bike and will even take a few bags if you want to go bikepacking. But on the flip side you can put some road tyres on and keep up on a road ride (I rode the London Ride 100 on it). It's light and respo...
