4 of us were out on Alport Castles in the Peak District last night. Wind and drizzle but as usual great fun. The Siltarp1 performed fine, staying dry and sheltered with minimal flapping. I'll post some pics later.

I realised I have been out every month this year, with about 20 nights so far.

I think it depends on the nature of the trip, rather than the terrain. I really enjoyed doing this years WRT SS, but then we were looking to have a fun trip out rather than checkpoint gathering. I changed to 1x7 for my C2C because I needed to cover more ground per day. For me it isn't getting up or ...

There is nothing like sliding into a huge cosy winter down sleeping bag. Frosty clear mornings are my favourite way to wake up.

I'm not ready for the 'summer' to end quite just yet though!

To wet your appetites more, they had them at this price earlier in the year too and mine weighed in at 176g!!

Taped seams, waterproof, light, good price, tiny pack size (200-250cc)......

IanB, its time to replace that Hunka ;-)
