And thanks to Jeff and his write up and video, ive cancelled a up coming road sportive and instead heading up to Galloway in 2 weeks time to ride pretty much the same route, ive just added a few extra miles on the middle day :)

Dd a pre wrt bivi over the weekend, took the cross bike with road tyres on, but will use the crosser on the wrt with either 35mm land cruisers on or 40mm Nanos, all up weight this weekend was 54.1 lb for bike and gear
with me aboard ill be about 120 kg :(

any recommendations on different rubber that will roll easier ? 2.8" Super Moto X might be worth a look. Not a light tyre but looks like it should roll well. 2.4" X-Kings would also be worth considering. reckon the moto x will be ok on the gravel stuff stu, like around claewen res etc ?

Pinnacle Ramin 3 plus, bit concerned about pedaling 3 inch rubber on tarmac climbs :( .. gonna be a slog !

Pinnacle Ramin 3+ Bikepacking
On-One 853 single speed , not ridden much in the last 12 months but its a keeper
No more room im afraid :(

New to tubeless myself and found out the hard way this week , drove for an hr, rode bike 3 miles, small cut to side wall, sealant couldn't seal it and i couldn't undo the valve nut to insert inner tube :( .... 3 mile walk back to car and hour drive home !! post man bought me a weldtite tubeless repa...

Fat and protein are great for satiety, carbs not so much. Plus, if they're properly fat metabolism adapted (which they should be after this many weeks) then their body will naturally be happier working with its in-built energy stores. I found the same with intermittent fasting. I can easily go 24 h...

My new exped winter mat and schnozzel bag turned up today as recommended on here :)
ordered a separate schnozzel bag only to open my mat and find a shcnozzel bag included !!!!
