440g and rated to approx 0degrees, i would say that was good value for money! but yes, it is still expensive.. I'm still fascinated by the process and I would imagine that it is still cheaper than procuring something oif the same quality/function (obviously, depending on your own abillity) thank you...

i have this bike. well, not this exact one, but one from the same year. I cannot rate this bike highly enough. it is heavy, yes but beautiful.

I didn't realise there was a bothy in Amberley! What a shame..

Where do you normally bivvy? I'm thinking about getting out one night next week. Chanctonbury seemed the most suitable as it's half way on the way to work

Both my SS bikes are used for fairly quick blasts around my local woods/south downs way. Curre tly topping out at around 50kms when I have that much time spare, usually it's a couple of hours at most. As a training tool they're amazing, I definitely am a much stronger rider generally after a few wee...

Need to wrap the bars once I'm done testing out lever positions and bar angles.
