However you must admit that directionally ULEZ is a good thing if we are to breath cleaner air.
I think it would be great to go further and halve the number of cars on the road (alternating odd/even days or something).

Re: Lachy’s Tour Divide
I watched the first 15 mins - paused it as I want Helen to watch it with me. He is quick - Fernie in 9 hours!! That's 150 miles and around 4000m of climbing, offroad. For a flat road ride that would be a respectable time. I am looking forward to reminders of the scenery - I might even look through m...

So, 2 weeks to go. I know we get grid refs tomorrow, but has anyone got a plan yet?

And my cheery Friday is I got a new road bike frame, and just ordered everything to build it up. It is a beauty, and I seem to have misused my credit card somewhat, but it'll be a once in a lifetime purchase!

160 male entrants for 35 places I hadn't heard that. Not great odds at all in that case, either from the off or via any reserve list. That also makes for 120 latent ITT attempts, assuming the group start wasn't the be-all and end-all. If I'm not the only one now thinking of going down that route ne...

A very common cause of not finishing long hard events is "my head went". So if you can build/train mental resilience then there's money to be made.

Thanks all - these birthdays come round faster and faster. Been out tonight with an uncle and cousin I've not seen for 20 years - really enjoyed it. And when I let the dogs out when I got home I thought it would be a cracking night for a bivvy. It was a good thought but now I'm wondering if I need t...

I can imagine that conversation. I also get my character traits explained to me (not by Dee though)!
I'm analogue, but I do use power tools and stuff to make life easier, especially for lengthy tasks.
And I'm lusting after a car that doesn't guess what I want and irritate the crap out of me!!

I can tell it must've been a tough day out as I took so few photos despite the scenic backdrop lending itself so perfectly to being snapped.

At a complete tangent. Anyone fancy a 2014 route reunion ride? 7 years have completely dulled the memory and I found myself thinking about riding it again. As ever, thank you both for the effort you put in to the events and efforts you put in to keep BearBones running. It is a great place to be and a welcome relief from life's other pressures.
And this year the BB200 was quite hard!
