Re: An interesting bikerafting route up in the Highlands

Agreed but oddly a football pitch is not an actual standard SIZE and can technically be square (90-120 long and 45 - 90 wide)

Not the easiest I have ever done or the hardest

Re: FS: Wildcat & Straight Cut Bags + Harnesses

Smaller version is 3-6 and larger version n 5-10litre( could probably get bigger in than 10 l for large but thibk it would run the risk of excess sway if you did ( love mine fwiw but have the larger version and never tried smaller) I think it advises a tapered drybag but, I use theirs, so not 100l%....

Re: Tubeless question

I use the cheapest from Ebay( all have worked fine)
I use a 30 ml syringe from. Ebay and inject via valve)
I use valves ( as they eventually gum up) from. Ebay
I tend to use stans fluid but I assume they all work including home brew options

Re: Bike Abuse, Am I bad?

That pretty much. Hose it down, in winter at the end, and lube chain.

I would not drive home from an event and then clean my bike ( unless something needed fixing) but I would have cleaned it before the event.

Ta seems a number of different ways into maps via profile ( or via navigation) but it's just not listed there.
Tried synching with Garmin but made no difference.( tubeless worked first time though)

Edited my response then saw your post but it is in that folder as I downloaded then transferred( and just double checked) . Re: Technique for Packing a Handlebar Roll

My double ended bag is not even as my winter sleeping r bag is too big so gets stuffed at one end and the rest goes in ( being soft and not fully compressed. This side will then squash when I pull the harness straps) It's more important the weight is even than it looks even You could take the cape o...

Re: Trailmech hubs

A more expensive hub will have better freehub bearings seals and we could all ride on single buted spokes etc. Granted I wont be buying king hubs or paying £500 for a carbon rim to save 50 grams but generally more expensive kit is a higher quality ( law of dimishing returns) Even the cheapest of hub...

Apparently she offsets it ( read bizarrely in An a article about her suing someone who lists her jet movements. Yet more rationalisation about why you don't personally have to change . We all have to change and I would no more base my behaviour on them( egotistical avaricious soulless types) than I would base it on Trump. I don't know why you think bezos or musk lecture on this ( I don't really follow either ...

No I got that, it's just daft cycle hating to say it's not green(er than car use)

The environment will be our generations slavery. Future generations ( we won't wipe us all out but lots of people live near the coast and are in big trouble.) will wonder, rightly, why we did it.

Re: Who'd have thunk it, an interesting article on Road.cc?

read a criticism of cycling once, saying it wasn't green because we all eat more food so we have more impact
FFS we all exhale CO2 so no animal is neutral BUT a bike is clearly way better than a car ( even at just a single production cost analysis never mind per mile used once made
