POC: Adds MIPS feature to reduce risk of rotational injury Also POC: Adds cargo feature to increase risk of rotational injury That said I do occasionally wonder about the wisdom of fitting a plastic bolt to your lid - I'm sure it will punch through your skull fairly effectively if you land on it......

International Bivvy Bag Day - Saturday 25/02

Not sure I've seen this on here yet. Probably because it appears to have been organised entirely via Facebook which I understand is not the preferred form of network around these parts. But if you can bear to log on here is a link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/411508870456399/ Apparently they set...

Re: Bargain Alert Thread

I was tempted by one at a similar price on Wiggle recently until I realised the Enduro was nearly as big as my kitchen clock! I'm assuming that £330 is a 'good' price for a Garmin Enduro watch / gps. Looks like it has the magic charging screen and lots and lots of other stuff. https://www.sportsshoe...

Re: Heat retention from "reflective" fabrics.

I’ve had an Omin-Heat down sleeping bag for a few years now. I can’t say it keeps me any warmer but the slightly shiny inside feels horrible against the skin! I also have some Omin-Heat leggings and boots. Also don’t seem any warmer.

WTD: Small 26er frame

Mini me has grown out of the bike i built her and needs the next frame up. Here’s a wish list: - Needs to be for 26” wheels and I’ll be transferring bits from her old bike. - Threaded BB - Disc brake mounts - Able to fit a 110mm fork - If it comes with a headset all the better. Or at least an idea o...

Re: WTD - dropper project - 27.2, external - spares/repairs etc

It doesn't work but that is probably just because I can't fix it. It's a simple device so I'm sure someone with more patience than me could get it working.

Save Craft Brew! One for KAW riders.

If you’ve ridden the KAW and stopped at Craft Brews on Pierrepont Farm near Frensham, you might want to support this petition.

Re: selling all and getting a cheating bike.

Due to long covid knackering my ability to ride with my mates without causing me horrible symptoms for days (sometimes weeks) after, i sold 3 bikes and bought an Orbea Rise about 2 months back. It's been vaguely exciting. Perfect for the 2 hour blasts with mates, good for an overnighter last weekend...

Blimey, if I didn't already own a high mileage fast estate banger i'd be all over this Shaf!

What sort of mpg are you getting? My old Forester used to struggle to make 30 and that was the 2 litre.

I live very close to the route in Farnham. Be sure you time your trip through Pierrepont Farm south of me to coincide with Joe's opening hours at Craft Brews. It's a real gem.
