Pillow installation... I use a cheapy from Poundland slid into a buff, then secure it to the mattress with a strap threaded through the buff and tight around the mattress. Does anyone know if you can normally get from Llandeillo'r Fan to the Tirabad road. ? Cycle.travel has plotted me a route through there despite it being in the Danger Area. I know that the road from Llywel to Tirabad is usually open but this looks interesting, and I have done the bit of the Big Bear...

Water bottle with a top for me too (from Halfords) I have added a cord loop to ping the top off when wearing mitts.

Scotroutes : The picture doesn't show - would be interested how far you have got with the design !

I use a "topper" made from that silverised bubble wrap on top of my airbed. It is torso length and held in place with 3 mm shock cord loops. It seems to improve things.

Julian Sayarer wrote a good book about cycling around the world (and his reasons for doing it) based on the politics of adventure. His book about being a cycle courier in London is good too.

Not a Sunrace, but I put together a Ghetto 9 speed 11-40 based on a Shimano cassette.

It works well with a Tiagra long cage rear mech if you are on the drop bar route.
