Re: pre-trip worries?

have people wander past or have a farmer get annoyed with me in the morning. Very few people are up and about in the countryside after dark, the chances of any of them being in the vicinity of where you've setup a bivy is minimal. Farmers are only going to be around early morning during or just aft...

Superstar always seem to have deals on, and properly hideous colours. http://www.superstarcomponents.com/en/shop/mountain/mountain-drivetrain/mountain-pedals/ I see they have magnesium pedals now, a new on...

Maybe the Bar Fly Universal Mount? Short bar extension thing that's the proper fat width... has various holes in it, you could put a wire down em?

Re: tiny front rack. idea's?

Do you mean the Nitto front rack? Attaches to old brake fittings, and is a bit spendy... http://ep.yimg.com/ay/yhst-3773699254952/nitto-m18-mini-front-rack-3.gif Salsa used to do the Minimalist front rack but dont seem to be able to get it now. Edinburgh specific really - Ronde bike shop/cafe in stockbridge has a sale on - there's some good genesis bikes in there, longitudes, caribous, croix de fer. They are super stone age and barely have a website so the best I can do is link to the gallery on facebook (at least it has prices in). https:...

I guess if you had a small triangle, and rigid forks/enough clearance it might be quite good... Gives me some thoughts about my sma...
