Re: Alpkit bicycle 3.5 Tarp in kelp

Hi Rich,

I'll take this if it's still available please? I'm at WRT so will collect there for cash if that's OK?

Cheers,

Andy

Re: Garmin Killer? New Wahoo content

I'm looking at getting a Bolt as I'm currently relying on my phone, a very old 310xt with breadcrumb courses, maps and a terrible natural sense of direction.

Does anyone feel the features of the Roam worth the extra £100?

Re: London to Brighton gravel route Sat 25th August

Does anyone have a GPX for the gravel route? I'd love to give this a crack in a few months.

Thanks in advance should anyone have a copy.

Cheers,

Re: Bargain Alert Thread

It's also a good way of getting the name out there. SP has a wide following of casual perusers and Alpkit while expanding their offerings, I'd guess are relatively niche to mountaineering, climbing, adventure cycling etc... if they don't lose too much while shifting stock and get some brand exposure...

Re: One bike only?

I'm at 5, but could easily be 3, may get rid of the PX. I don't think I'd be anywhere near as happy with just one bike for the variety of riding around the SW lakes. Rose ProDX with two 700c wheel sets - 28mm slicks for the occasional road riding / 37mm GOnes (or a racing ralph up front) for gravel/...

Divided on Amazon Prime

Not sure if this has been posted before, couldn’t find anything in the search. Divided is free on Amazon Prime. I watched it last night and loved it, Lee and Rickie are both eminently likeable. I’ve also recently watched Free Solo which is palm sweatingly thrilling and Dawn Wall which is incredibly ...

Re: Dulyn bothy from the north?

Back from my short overnight stay at Dulyn bothy. I rode the coastal path from Conwy to Abergwyngregyn and then climbed up and over drum from there. Lovely ride up the until I reached the crossroads at the base of Drum. From there the weather was atrocious, despite a tailwind, it was so gusty I had ...

Re: Dulyn bothy from the north?

Gents, thank you both very much. That's greatly appreciated, I'd looked at the black route as a potential from Simon's post, looks like it's the way to go should the weather be suitable. I'll make sure I pack some fuel.

Thanks!

Cheers, I saw the closeness of the car park and number of youtube videos and was a little worried, hopefully a Thursday night will mean it won't be so busy...

Dulyn bothy from the north?

I've got a few days off at the end of the week and I'm visiting the parents in Llandudno. I spied Dulyn Bothy and was planning no riding in. I've ridden a lot around Conwy Mountain and Drum, but never gone that far south. Is there a way to ride from the Drum direction down to the bothy? I've got the...

Little Dirty Reiver

A friend has just bought an Arkose and I've suggested we go to Kielder this weekend to stay in Wainhope bothy. We're probably not looking to go too far so I was thinking of doing either the south or north loop of the Dirty Reiver route on Saturday and the a gentle pootle back to the car on Sunday mo...

An ode to the e-bike

I went out for a spin round Whinlatter at the weekend and I honestly have to say that I reached a new level of motivation thanks to the wondrous e-bike technology. I wasn't on an e-bike, but when I saw two portly chaps and full bouncers, full face helmets and full body armour pop out of the singletr...

A surprise gift with a tiny snag

I was incredibly fortunate today, as a colleague gave me a nearly unused set of disc road wheels including rotors as they were the backup to his backup and he hadn't even used backup set 1 in the 2 years since he'd bought them. They're slightly on the heavy side but they'll be going on my cross bike...

Quick update, they've replied to my email, removed the item which will be refunded and said I'd get an email when it's shipped. Some progress at least!

Re: Planet X

In fairness I think it probably was clear that the item was out of stock, I just didn't pay attention in my late night haze. I thought about cancelling, but unless I'm mistaken there isn't an automated way of doing that, so I'd still be in the same ticket system anyway. I had a "live chat"...

Hi all, Made an order with PX but didn't realise one of the items was out of stock, need most of it soon, but they won't send till all in stock.
