Re: Pooing and bowel function on long trips.

Thanks for your help everyone. I am generally ok with my stools as i can eat my really high bran pprridge and plenty of veg as part of my normal diet. I think the slightly bent forward position of riding plus getting a little dehydrated causes the start of a problem. My concerns are mostly for a mul...

Re: GoPro adapter for Garmin Out-Front

i appreciate the re-use idea, but the garmin outfront is a bit flexy with too much stuff on it.

Have you tried aliexpress? the do what appear to be derivative items that are aluminium and a lot sturdier than the plastic outfront.

Re: Flexible water bottles

the collapsable thing allows you to fit stuff around it when its part full, consumables like food items. Ruth also likes the ability to squash them down and store elsewhere if they are empty and carry other stuff in stemcell.

Re: Pooing and bowel function on long trips.

Its something that has always been a feature of my physiology.
I seem immune to the oft quoted laxative powers of coffee. Things that help include lentil dahl and some nice beer. But i cant always consume these in the required quantities.

Pooing and bowel function on long trips.

As i have never knowingly met any of you in real life, im happy to share this snippet of my private life..... My natural state is to struggle when doing No 2s in the bathroom. I seem to produce large stones that dont readily want to leave the safety of my insides. I really dislike this, so i take gr...

Flexible water bottles

Mrs B is off to do the Italy divide in April.

Due to space concerns she wants to use a collapsable plastic bottle in her stem cell.

Can anyone recommend something suitable for this?

thanks

Attaching bottle cage to susp forks

I have bottle cage mounts inside the small triangle of my mtb frame. Using some frame luggage means that i can only use one bottle cage. So, i want to add some cages to the legs of my Fox 32 forks. How can I add cages to these legs? Is it just using a large jubilee type clip? What proprietry solutio...

Re: 2019 - what you got planned?

After trying in vain to get time off work to do Spanish C2C, me and Mrs B entered the Italy Divide. So we have that at end of April.

We still want to do a Cairngorm loop.

Aug is 16 days riding uplifted DH with one of my daughters.

TNR looks vaguely exciting, but i may run out of leave....
