Re: New stove for solo adventures
Yes I had looked at the Triangle (this what I was originally looking at) , but it won't fit a ti-mug - it had a ridiculous 123mm mounting diameter.

Re: New stove for solo adventures
Yes I have seen them and they look good, but was tempted to keep using a Trangia burner, if going alcohol based, as I know them inside out.

New stove for solo adventures
I am about to change my stove etc, I am used to using the Trangia (27-2) in panniers, but looking to reduce the size down to fit in a frame bag (or fork bags). My thought process was to either use a Trangia Mini (weight around 330g and £23), or the AlpKit BruKit (weight around 330b with the gas and ...

The Cumus 350 quilt is the one that I was thinking about. With euro it is really good value.

Re: BB200 - sleeping bag
Sorry should have made it clearer, that I haven't got a module but was looking at this as I already had the Exped, but I have a feeling it will still be too cold!

BB200 - sleeping bag
Hi all, I have committed to the BB200 and working through my kit. There is no chance of me riding through the night so I will be sleeping over and your advice on a sleeping bag would be appreciated. I am used to touring, where I can use my panniers and space is less of an issue an, so I need to get ...

Re: Exped Synmat UL 5...any users/experience?
I am 6 foot 1 and 14 stone, so not a wippet!!
I did go for the large, but not the extra width, as it wouldn't work with my existing gear. Don't get me wrong it's not a double bed, but I think it's fine.
The length was more important for me as I have used 3/4 mats and hated them.

Re: Exped Synmat UL 5...any users/experience?
Hi all, A newbie here! I have the Exped DM 5, which has a slightly better R-value, due to the down. Other than that it appears to be a similar product. They are very comfortable, the side bars are pretty cool as I am side sleeper. They aren't the quietest thing to sleep on and rustle a lot when you ...
