been eyeing various fatbikes up. fancy treating myself to a new bike.
they look fun. anyone got one?

recently somehow ended up with a cannondale cx bike........riding it offroad on anything remotely rough was terrible. shaken to bloody bits.
a nice light xc mtb is perfect for the 1 bike. something like a Cube 29 Ltd. light as a road bike, and takes a 2.3 tyre for offroad.

not bought any bike tyres for nearly 6 years...so no idea what is good.
i am looking for a tough grippy rear 29'' tyre. 2.3 would be ace.............any idea's?

sorry, that sounded wrong from me. I was meaning coming from a cycling/sporting background.

any able bodied person wanting to use a ebike is not right. I used on for 3 years through ill health. I got rid as soon as I was able.

lol.....we should start a swap shop, i have some clarks ergon-esque type grips that are going free to a good home.

1 x pair of specialized bennies flat pedal. big platform, ideal for winter boots.
used for about 6 month, but in spot on condition. £15 delivered.

I have spent 36 years just riding my bike. never raced, never timed myself, almost never stand up on the pedals. I don't want to go fast on my bike......you miss far too much when travelling quickly.

bought another pair of these. wore my old ones for 14 month, every day for commuting and at work. still going strong.
but I fancied some new ones. sublime comfort.

did this fantastic ride in early September. proper top drawer fantastic. however, I wouldn't fancy the 1st half of the 1st day in a soggy November............
