Re: Sleeping bag dilemma

I like my cumulus quilt but it's quite narrow and I get the odd draught as I don't like using the elasticated straps. Prefer my wider Enlightened Equipment quilt.

I'm a large/x large 44" chest with broad shoulders btw. If you're more medium in size, you'll be reet.

Excellent! Can you let him know that I'll be booking accommodation and transfers with him in the next couple of days?

I'm interested in this too.

Gairy, I know bikes are subjective but do you think this is more of a full suspension route or rigid bikepacking bike route?

For the first time ever, we're spending it on our own at home, just the four of us. Can't wait. Loads of food and drink, a few walks and the odd bike ride.

Re: So.... Morocco....

Question for Dan and Meraid really... I'm going to book with Said to stay at his place and arrange transfers. Any idea how much I should expect to pay? Accommodation looks around £20 but have no clue about transport costs. Bike will be in an evoc bag which I hope to leave with him. Also, do you have...

I think you're pushing it to expect to do all your shopping in Brecon. That's coming from the man who did all of his one year in Colliers Wood retail park and fit it all in a motorcycle top box.

Re: SMD Lunar Solo - Opinions?

Agree with Taylor. Had mine a few years and it's great. Using the tie out point on the back wall is fairly essential at it can flatten if the wind changes. I've not seen anything else I'd rather have though.

Flying with bikepacking gear

Have always driven on any bike trip. What's the best way to carry bikepacking kit for flights?
The bike will go in a bike bag but what do people do with the rest of the stuff?
