Re: Gravel but not, kind of.

I saw the prototype of this at Brother in the Wild Dorset last year and its a beautiful looking thing.

I suspect that anyone who reads Bicycle Quarterly will be drooling over it. I’m another of the opinion that cantis are a massive ball ache.

Revelate Sweetroll

Purchased used from these shores. Seen a couple of trips but I’ve picked up a new harness so surplus to requirements.

I believe this is the first version of the bag.

WTD cheap hollowtech 2 cranks SORTED

I picked up an old rockhopper recently so am having a bit of fun turning it into a pub bike. I need a set of cranks to use with the microshift stuff I’ve bought so just need to accommodate a 10 speed chainring. Not bothered about arm length, 170-175mm fine

Thanks

Re: Bargain Alert Thread

There is an absolute bargain of a medium Krampus on gumtree just now - in Wales. Looks too good to be true (and the price has gone up between two adds which is odd) but might be worth a look - search 'surly' on gumtree and it will come up - £725 I saw that too. Looks like someone has bought it and ...

Snugpak stratosphere bivvy

Going back to a tent so selling this. It is the one with the short poles which give you a nice bit of headroom. It’s also got a mesh screen you can unzip so on dry nights you can gaze at the sky which is a nice feature. I’ve used it twice so great condition. I got a bit claustrophobic though so a li...

Wiggle have the Aeroe bar harness (good review on road.cc FWIW) half price at £30.

They also have a lot of their WTB rims going very cheap.

Re: CUK and Article on New Forest / the Verderers

Great article this that summarises the (ridiculous) situation perfectly. I ride in the NF regularly and echo the comment on damage caused by horse riders.

This is an issue of class, privilege and entitlement, not ecology.

Re: Sleeping bag liners

Thanks all. I have a thermarest neo air lite or something like that. It’s paper thin almost, so maybe that’s my problem.

Tbh I think a thicker quilt is the answer as I don’t want to carry multiple bedding items and I hate the bulkiness of bags on the bike.

Sleeping bag liners

So…. Some of you may have seen my quilt for sale on here which I find a bit chilly on colder nights. I was wondering if there was a sleeping bag liner anyone could recommend that would be able to make the quilt usable once the temps drop. Is there such a thing that has a comfort rating “upgrade” sta...

Cumulus Quilt 250

Used twice, but I run cold and this wasn’t enough for me in the colder spring nights. Packs up very small indeed.

Paid £229 looking for £185 posted.
