I have just re-read 'To Kill a Mocking Bird', I love that book, I read it for O level English Lit when I was 15, and have read it at least once or twice a decade since then. So that will be several re-reads

I don't know if this will work for everyone, as it isn't an advertised offer, but...... I went into Evans to buy a new light, and had my eye on the Exposure Strada SB. So in I went and was ready for the shock of the price, but £300 made me almost faint. Anyway, the chap scanned it and it came up as ...

Vittoria Terreno Mix. They are coping well on the slippy tow path, the tracks on the Quantocks and not too bad on the road. I got them really cheap last summer when the winter tyres were clearly all being discounted and shifted, my plan is to get some summer tyres any day now when they are cheaper a...

Two Sundays ago there was at least one large one on display in Wednesbury. I had a look at it on the way back down from dropping off my daughter at Uni.

To be honest, why clean it? Mine has had a couple of years use now, maybe a quick wipe to get rid of some soot, otherwise all good. I really enjoy using mine, mostly on the beach after a paddle board, and I just to tend to leave it in the boot under the board with some coffee and milk powder in case...

Re: Help my wife to sleep
My wife and I are taking our kids bikepacking/touring this summer. I've got plenty of lightweight sleeping gear for myself and the kids, but my wife is adamant that, although she is looking forward to the trip, she wants what she describes as a "very very comfy" mat to sleep on. I've look...

And swimming isn't The right shoes are flippers I think you’ll find the right shoes are fins  Flippers or fins, you're not allowed to wear them in competive olympic type swimming. So does that mean swimming isn't a sport now? No, in that case the right shoes are no shoes. You still have...

Re: Bikepacking. A sport?
I read a very well written piece suggesting that a sport is a sport if you can do it better if you wear the correct shoes. So from that perspective, Bikepacking probably is a sport!

Re: OT question for the over 50's.
I did some work with an older gentleman once, and he was riven with thoughts of 'what if'? So, I did some digging and some background research. There is a great piece of research (I will find the link) and it asked questions about regret. The topline up shot is that we regret those things we don't d...

Ramadhan (month of fasting) starts at about 11th of April and I need to get it done before then. For me personally it's an excuse to take on the challenge. It's not work related r...

Certainly doesn't sound like you're over-doing the caffeine fella but worth considering when you have a BP reading taken, as caffeine before could spike it. Also mate when your going for your check try and get the first appointment, and go fasted , as your pressure rises and falls throughout the da...

Like this? :O3 https://doglab.com/collapsible-dog-bowl/ Blimey, that review is crazy. They tested 32 bowls and took over 80 hours doing it! If we say they took 83 hours, that is a staggering 151 minutes per bowl! What could they possibly spend 2 1/2 hours doing per small plastic collapsible bowl :-O

She could probably do with a scan, which currently are like hens teeth. While in this acute phase just keep on with the pain meds and gently mobilise within the pain threshold. The good news is that it will almost undoubtedly settle down, the bad news is that it may take up to 6-8 weeks, at which po...
