As above, chainrings are available with boost 3mm offset, but probably not if it has an odd bolt pattern.
Max recommended chainring is 36T on a boost crank on a Highball, so you might get away with it. It may also limit how wide a tyre you can run.

Re: Catching fly campers!
Wonder why that is? I assumed they were agents of the landowner ... or could certainly pretend to be quite convincingly. My understanding is that they they can request people to move on, after which it becomes an offence, but then it relies on the Police to attend and fine/charge - which obviously ...

At the brewery bar? Yeah, limited capacity when I was there recently. You'd to wait to be seated inside or out. Will probably need to book for Friday night.

If anyone is up for a beer with Billy no Mates here - the friends I was going to meet are now working.
Is there a bar up at the campsite, or is it Hawkshead Brewery again? Guess I'll get the info when I get around to processing an entry (was down for M100).

Re: Catching fly campers!
Must have been the day for it........ Drove along Crummock to drop my daughter and work and there were a couple camped on the point at Rannerdale Knotts (if anyone's familiar). It's a really popular viewpoint and folk swim from it - even the tour buses stop there for the photo opps. Anyway, couple w...

Re: #jennride 2021 26th June
Me too. Double jagged, but still careful. It's 12-30 yr olds they are focussing on. Some locals are getting twitchy about visitors though, so always good to be extra considerate - I don't mean for this event obviously, as not much 'groups inside' stuff going on. Just good to bear in mind when you do...

Surge testing started in Cumbria yesterday, due to a spike in Delta variant infections. Be extra vigilant if you're heading to the Lakes.

Re: Big Agnes tent experts......
I've ordered a Copper Spur UL1 (non bikepack) as it's on free returns. Realised the poles I've been using on the Trekkertent are 42cm and never had an issue with them on bar roll or in frame bag. It's lighter than the bikepack (I don't need the strappy carry bag) and £70 cheaper. Here is one https:/...

Re: Big Agnes tent experts......
Thanks folks. I think I'd go for a Tiger Wall, but they don't do a 1 person bike version. Copper Spur UL1 bike is looking best just now. I know Alan G rates his Fly Creek Dave. The only downside is that you have to put the inner up first - If they can be pitched in 'fast fly' mode, it's surely possi...

Big Agnes tent experts......
I'm after a lightweight, well featured tent I can backpack in Northern Britain with (March-Nov), but is small/light enough to carry on the bike. I have a Trekkertent Stealth, which I really like, but couldn't live with when backpacking, as you spend a lot more time in the tent, cooking etc. With the...

Good tipsI always carry a foil Capri Sun pouch (with the top cut off) to fill the dirty water bag with water from the smallest trickle or puddle. It's also useful in larger bodies of water to be more selective when filling the dirty water bag with cleaner water and fewer particles.

Re: Cairngorms Loop(s) advice.
Follow the CL route to Loch Morlich, and on to Ryvoan bothy (without turning right up towards Bynack). From Ryvoan continue on over to Forest Lodge and rejoin the outer loop around Nethy Bridge. Follow outer loop to Glen Tilt, but keep going along the Tilt back to Blair Atholl.

Shorts off at night and talcum powder liberally applied, after whatever cleaning can be done. It's the constant humidity/dampness that's not good - a bit like a baby's mucky ar5e.

Ah, right, thought you were after something bolting to the outer bottle mounts. I've a mate may be able to make you something if you can't find what you're after. Decathlon - £25? Looks like it could be adapted https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/front-bike-rack-500/_/R-p-168780?mc=8487144&utm_source=...

Surly? https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/carriers-ra ... ront-rack/
Is that the sort of thing you're after, or two small separate racks that bolt to the fork legs?
Google porteur racks for options, though they don't seem to use the 'bottle' bosses on forks.
