Re the north side of Loch Etive trail - the track starts at 10316 44081 just above the shore line about 1.5k from the road end about 100m above the loch shore and goes the full length of the loch. I’d say that’s where the worst of the bog started, but it was a bit bushwhacky for a couple of km prio...

Sep 2017. It was pretty grim after that but we knew how far from the road we were so knew it was worth pushing on.

That track on the north side gets better. I’ve done it from the other way and the bit at the top of the loch is by far the worst.

Edit. About 3-4km from the end of the road it turns back to double track.

Has anyone used or considered using a small flask whilst out riding during the winter months, liking the look of the the Earth Well 355ml mug looks the part and with no cafes open during lockdown maybe a good investment and something to use goin forward any thoughts ...
