Re: Ti pot for Alpkit Bruler?

Thanks for the suggestions. Went for this, hoping the dimensions are correct: https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CPZA900SW ... ZA900SWCPL

Didn't really want a hanging pot, but might still end up with one if the 900ml version is too narrow!

Re: Ti pot for Alpkit Bruler?

{guessing} Is it possible to swap the supports so the feet face inwards rather than out? Good shout, just tried but doesn't work...can turn the supports "in board" but won't stay upright when refitted that way. Looks like I need a ti pot with a wider footprint. Reckon my current one is 95...

Ti pot for Alpkit Bruler?

Following on from the "postman's been..." thread, anyone with an Alpkit Bruler meths stove care to recommend a ti pot that sits nicely on the inner arm supports? My no-brand pot (550ml) looks to be not quite wide enough!

Less spendy tbe better!

Cheers

Re: The post man's been ...

So my bargain Alpkit haul has arrived: - EZ sit mat, bit more cush than my original sit pad. :-bd - Blips. Impressed apart from the fact that I'd thought the led tab on my Montane rucksack was thicker, so a blip won't fit  - midge headnet. Good, but rather than netting all round, has a round p...

Re: Rigid MTB tyre size..?

2.6 front, 2.35 rear (Mezcals). Have room for a plus tyre on the front and 2.6 rear so was going to try that for a bit of extra cush. But ending up finding a Cane Creek eSilk suspension seatpost on sale so think sorted for rear cush now! TBF, the 2.6/2.35 combo seems a pretty good balance of weight/...

I have Spyres on a cross bike. They were never that good until I changed over to proper compressionless outers. The difference was night and day TBH. When I changed cables I used the kit recommended by TRP with the outers and other bits and pieces: https://www.merlincycles.com/trp-road-disc-cable-ki...
