It’s closer to lightish touring than proper bikepacking, but for 2 weeks I wanted a bit more comfort. The train from Stratford upon Avon wasn't until 11:30 so a de...

Re: Bivvy a month 2014 thread.

Can I join the party please? Having recently bought a few new bits and bobs, some from Stu, I thought I'd better go and try them out with a trip out after work. Re: The Famous Grouse in Scotland

I'm amazed it's only £30m to be honest, perhaps they should look at something more lucrative, such as cycling for instance... http://www.transformscotland.org.uk/val ... eport.aspx worth up to £239m apparently

Re: The 'non-WRT' thread

Lots of prep going on here for next weekend - 2 weeks touring/camping/bivvying round Scotland. Starting from Inverness, working my way up to Cape Wrath then down the West coast via a few islands, train home from Ardrossan. Much mapping and just a little blatant plagiarism of routes. Should some pics...

My 1st night in a bivvy bag...

Made the jump from this.... Barra Beachs.jpg to this... P1030020s.jpg so I can do this... P1030016s.jpg Done a fair bit of camping (site and wild) but never used a bivvy bag. Until now. I did pick a good night, but it was a really good 1st go, just a quick overnighter in the local woods less than 10...

Re: Long Distance Road Routes Across Europe

Hi, this is my first post here so please be gentle! Posting here cos I did just this a couple of years ago - packed my bike into an lbs cardboard box, flew to Montpellier and basically cycled back as far as the ferry near Caen over a couple of weeks. Pretty much the best couple of weeks ever, French...
