No issues Lars, was happy to review and ride with them. Happy to take them on the Divide too - will post up post TD how they work out.

Weight, it's really not that much extra. Not for what you get with the total waterproofness of them.

Great race among the front group.. looks like Ianfitz has something in the tank at the end, has pulled toward the front well overnight. Pretty certain if you turned up to an XC race 2hrs late and started, but rode the course faster than the leader you'd not get 1st place after.

Now...turn up late and pass the leader....sure, now you're leading.

Batteries are heavy. I'd say go with 1 spare set of AAA's for SPOT and 1 spare set of AA's for Etrex. Resupply on route as required. Same with your brake pads unless they're really tricky to source. Even in the mire of 2014, I needed to change brake pads just the once in Steamboat @ Orange Peel. If...
