thinking about staying on the summit in shelter tomorrow evening, anyone got any good tracks around that area i could possibly ride before the ascent via pony path?

ul love bikepacking.... well iv brought a wildcat harness n revelate seat pack now but when i started out i found the alpkit dry bags worked super i fixed a 12ltr to my bars using either bungies or straps with those no slip clips on. and again the dry bags work under the seat post but u need the one...

yeah all that stuff u mentioned i burnt plus loads of empty fuel bags. old bits of food n cartons to i wish people would treat bothys with little bit more respect. i away do my bit and the fire needed cleaning out. i think the breakfasts were amongst the other dried food packs still on the shelf :)

check out the mountain hardware ghost whisper with hood just brought one from cotswolds reduced to £160 so warm and weights 212grams packs down tiny great for overnighters!!

And theres me thinking id found a secret spot it would be a grand spot hey stu. plenty of shelter n dry wood for a small fire loads of water so may have to try it one night :D

mm-on-point - the bothy was amazing well in the morning when i could see it. got there at 730, that rocky descent from the top res was evil frozen and dark. had bothy to myself was brilliant and after that hard climb back up to top the descent was great back to the carpark then i made my way back to...

currently sat under my tarp on the sarn helen below moel sibod. what a fantastic evenin theres no wind no noise nothing!! off to dulyn bothy tomorrow night but if its like this then I'll be under the stars again. happy days pictures to follow.....to all those bivying out this evening ENJOY

Dulyn Bothy by bike????

Has anyone stayed here and is it accessible by bike ive plotted a route to it but the track ends im guessing ill have to drop down the foot path to dulyn res to west of bothy then back down valley to building??

Any other-better route would be appreciated thanks
