Yes, I put it down to wanting to make the most of the nicer weather (and seeing spring flowers and wildlife) before it’s gone. Sadly due to crap mental health I’ve just ended up doing hardly anything at all and feeling really frustrated

Thanks, just looking at ways to link up to the Jack Mytton way/bridlepath at Callowgate to head towards Brown Clee (without going back on myself) as long as it’s rideable, not HAB

Re: Yey another sleeping bag thread!
Thanks, yes I’ve been having a good look at the new, and other Alpkit bags, sadly the regular size maybe a little too short for me and no long sizes in stock (my down bag is an Alpkit, I fit fine in it however I don’t know what size it is as bought it in their factory sale many years ago). I should’...

Yey another sleeping bag thread!
Forgive me, my search returned too common words and too many results. What’s the BB sleeping bag of choice for spring to autumn use? I suppose the minimum temperature rating needed would be about 1-4°C to cope with the cool temps early spring and late autumn. Not over early fussed about weight, of c...

Titterstone Clee - Coming off the North face
Anyone ridden the cheeky Shropshire Way path going down the north side of the Clee from the summit? Is it rideable? (Probably one for @godivatrailrider )

Re: OT local history
I was involved with digging up drystone walls on the NT site I volunteer at, the NT archaeologist was loving finding such well preserved examples of walling with sandstone blocks.
I’ve done a bit of walling too, sadly not much call for it around here apart from decorative garden features

Re: Bikepacking with health (stomach) issues?
I have shat into a green ( biodegradable but not very robust) co-op carrier bag inside the tent on numerous occasions ( dreading the day this goes horribly wrong) and dangled it off the bars until I find the nearest dog crap bin as I regularly have only a few moments notice in the mornings. Thankfu...

Re: Bikepacking with health (stomach) issues?
Have you considered carrying compostible bags and a poo box, like snowholers do in the Cairngorms? A screw lid cylinder should fit into a large stemcell/fork bag. I find locating a good place to dig a deep hole more stressful than the act of disrobing. Not heard of those before, shall take a look, ...
