what's the difference between the Mk1 and the Mk2???
is it just the customisable messages?
if so are there different non-customisable messages you can send with the Mk1?

Here's the link to those lights on the Exposure website:
Exposure 'Revo'
I've been reading all about them and drooling today but there's no way I can justify that kind of money right now.
Enjoy.....

Re: Birzman tools
Your point about it having the right tools for you is interesting though. Why don't they design a configurable multi-tool that allowed you to drop the bits you don't need or use? That would be neat. That's an interesting concept actually - a modular multi-tool which is customisable to suit you need...

Just reading these ride reports scares me to death, well done everyone i reckon it'd take me nearly four days to ride that That's funny as reading what people did, felt and experienced has made me twice as jealous and twice as determined to make it next year as before! Don't get me wrong - next yea...

Ian,
Wow - you ate nothing - I couldn't sustain myself for 15 hours watching TV on that many calories!
(then again that could explain my gut and additional chins )

been following a few folks via their spot trackers - the distances covered are already pretty wide ranging.
think i'd have been more at the back than keeping pace with Ian but it's interesting seeing how things develop.

I hear what you're saying but I still think unless you can get the rear wheel to track the front the benefits aren't great ... what it will do though is make you smile and chuckle to yourself when you look at it fair enough, that makes sense - on more twisty stuff the lines'll be too different. Can...

in the absence of anyone wanting to buy my Karate Monkey frame my previous idea seems now to be coming to fruition! it's looking like i might be riding a SS (or 1x9) half-fat bike around the Ardeche mountains this coming winter (assuming the back ever recovers!). anyone got a pair of Salsa 'Enablers...

Re: Are we *misunderstood ...
Stuart, Yeah, most people simply don't get it and don't want to (which is fine as it means more bothy space for us). These days it's all about trail centres and man-made single-track. Most people who ride mountain bikes wouldn't necessarily even call themselves 'outdoors enthusiasts' never-mind be w...

Below is a copy of the STW add I just posted - make me an offer on any of the items as I've priced them on the higher end of the scale as I expect to be haggled-to-death on STW. Up for grabs..... - 29er frame - Large/19" Surly 'Karate Monkey' (good gently used condition) in Black with a Chris K...

Gairy - if you decide the split the KM I may be interested in the wheels, tyres and possibly the brakes and forks - I think I may be seeing you at the BB weekend? That could be possible as I've been trying to convince myself that it's a good idea to keep the frame anyway! So.....wheels, tyres, brak...

It's not massive (hence the new low-profile headset) but also the on-one frame, forks and headset are now all for sale on eBay and so I should really let the auction run its course.
The link to the auction is here (as it's dirt cheap at the minute for the lot).
Does that do anything for you?

Gutted!!!!! I failed to get a night out in for September. After my herniated disc (twice) and then my concussion and whip-lash incident I was in no state to be camping and so I waited until Saturday night to make one last attempt..... I was up-North having a beer and curry with some old school mates...
