A bag of Carb & Electrolyte Drink Mix to alternate with Skratch labs in my hydration packs. 3 PF 30 Caffeine Gels and 4 packets of PF 30 Chew - Mint & Lemon. Along with the other instant meals I should have 1200g of carbs. Along with anything I can find on the way I should be good. My resear...

Re: New Map Time
I've got a crude map renderer up and running (no it is not sweary just basic). Does anyone care these days if the road data is Openstreetmap as opposed to Ordnance Survey? Reason I ask is that my previous maps used OS data for the road network but it's easier to make maps from OSM data? If no one r...

Re: 2023 BB200/300 weights thread
When packing for something like this, I always ask myself 'what's going to stop me' and then make sure I've got the things to help prevent it. To a point. I'm not going to be able to fix a broken frame (of any material) so that's an absolute ride stopper. Bent mech hanger? Well I carry a spare but ...

Re: 2023 BB200/300 weights thread
Still think about ditching some of my tool kit to only the min of things I have actually used in the last year rather than everything I might need. Of course that Totally tempts fate. You just become THAT person who relies on everyone else carrying the kit and them being too nice not to ride past Y...

Re: 2023 BB200/300 weights thread
I certainly wouldn't rely upon or ask other riders for help. I'm not talking about leaving all tools behind, just not taking every tool going. I was think about only having stuff for fixing punctures, allen keys for the bolts on the bike a leatherman for everything else, spare chain quick links, a h...

Decathlon sell cheap stem cell feed bag type things. I have a couple and they have listed a few years now, still as good as new. Also cheap as chips and possibly available before the weekend.

Can you not just stop the device after say 75km, save it and then start again, repeat to avoid big recordings and possible problems? That’s what I tend to do on a garmin for important events.

Re: 2023 BB200/300 weights thread
I’m going to have 2l in hydra pack with solutions added. This should last 4 hours in the predicted temps. I will also carry my empty waist mounted (Fanny style) pack that holds 1.5l and has a full filter. That way I can have one for “clean” and one I can refill if needed from streams/lakes etc for “...

This is why I thought this situation was ok Bob. As I was trying to areange it for everyone? But to ensure that, would you not have to contact every rider directly? As you have to enter online via this website, surely posting it was happening on here would be acceptable? If you are crazy another to...
