Re: Bike storage
Well if the corridor is a meter wide the garage is 2.66m wide. A car is what? 1.8m wide leaving 860mm all round for which seems tiny for a garage. Which could be the problem. You need a bigger garage. Happy to help! If it was me i'd remove the shelvi g on the wall and relocate the contents to a deep...

Re: Words fail me.....
That's a porlex ceramic coffee grinder. A good companion to the aero press they were using. Those organic beans deserve a top quality grind. You can't take any chances when brewing coffee ;-) Consider me educated. I assumed that the brown bag actually had pre-ground in it. I'll stick to my sachets....

Re: Budget Bikepacking Bike?
I was with you until vbrakes.
I have no issue with v brakes in general but for a long day in the saddle where alot of brake dragging may occur I'd be rocking disks.
I can't see how disks are any worse than vbrakes in the kiss principle either!

Re: LIDAR Data Available via EA
I use Lidar all the time for work (which may well get me chased out of town around here)
I can do all the draping and stuff but i quite often just use google maps
I've never really seen any use for cycling other than maybe gradient profiles for routes.
It can be spectacularly innacurate!

Get yourself a cheap foam mat.
Give it a try and see if you stay warmer if you do buy a better mat or just continue to use the cheap foam mat cut down to withing an inch of its life.
