Re: What are you drinking now?

A nice Malbec. Not used to you mentioning wines  . Back on the stouts..... was in Morrisbums and noticed a new Northern Monk effort: Chocolate & Caramel & Biscuit stout. Put one in my basket to try, and carried on. Later thought hang on I've been caught like this before and went back...

Re: Help me with my creak

Also had this recently. Tried all sorts including tightening the crank bolt. Nothing worked. In the end took crank right off, cleaned the little gasket thingy in the bolt gap and the bolt and everything else. Sorted! Don't think anyone else mentioned that yet? Probably used all the wrong terminology...

I like these too, slightly different. Got them on a large DD tarp to add mid tie-outs, but can stick them anywhere on shelter presumably. https://www.ultralightoutdoorgear.co.uk ... clips-p447

Wollaton Park, Dale Abbey, Shipley Park, Crich Memorial, Wirksworth, Black Rocks, Cromford Incline, etc are all probably en route at the Nottingham end. Depends how long you got.

I'm suddenly idly reflecting how incredibly lucky us lot were to be allowed to carry on riding our bikes over the past year throughout all the mayhem. Absolutely baffling concept. No idea what they're on about.

Marmite, Bob, is a bikepacking food - multi-use y'see. For example you can also seal flat roofs with it. Or use as emergency tyre sealant.
