If you've got an Android phone then the App " Explorer helper for VeloViewer " does exactly what you're looking for Steve. It's essential for making sure you're not missing tiles imo.. Andy's right this is brilliant. Takes a minute to figure out loading the veloviewer file to update the a...

Re: Are we "cool" now... and for how long

The return of TNF Nuptse. We had that over here about 18 years ago and now again. Fashion recycles itself and has never wanted to be practical... Loads of teenagers are wearing Patagonia and TNF like Jamesh says but down "puffer" jackets were fashionable when I was at school in the 90s. T...

Re: Bonkers time triallists

There was a mythical story of the Barnsley legend Wayne Randall riding head down straight into the back window of a caravan that had slowed due to a queue, he picked himself up inside the van, walked out of the door, got back on his bike and finished the race. There's also the true story of the guy...

How did you get on Andy? I loved it! Route was great apart from two busy road sections that were made worse by the bank holiday weekend and great weather. Nice group of people including Chew. Pubs were good! Route is definitely recommended and the group ride too. Day 1: https://strava.app.link/Kjyf...

Local shop in Hadfield too: https://i0.wp.com/metro.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/league-of-gentlemen-1.jpg Is that for real? Haha, no shaf. The TV series league of gentlemen was filmed there. It's a sort of sitcom about a town of inbred weirdos (think goole). A Dark but very funny program.
