Went to see it in Edinburgh too and really enjoyed it especially the Q&A session afterwards too.

I'll not be using hissy fit but, yes, you are right that there was a discussion about it and a twitter interaction. I think the film is well worth going to see as is the Q&A

Re: Tow Path from Fort William to Fort Augusta

see if you can find the routes that the Trans Scotland Race people took. Jenny Tough wrote a blog and it had a pic of the strava fly-bys. (it isn't a fixed route.)

Dissent 133 'glove system'. The showerproof glove isn't waterproof, unsurprisingly, but is drizzleproof. Not tested the waterproof ones yet. The liner gloves feel nice

Re: drop bar width, how to decide?

For what intended purpose on what bike? 42cm on both my road and CX (CX, not gravel, adventure,...) bikes. It was initially odd going that narrow coming from 800mm on my hardtail. I think I'd probably go 40cm or even 38cm on the road bike now for extra #aero #tuck. 42cm is the default so you won't b...

Re: Which Apidura Packs?

I have the full set of the 'normal' Apidura bags. Although I bought early, before the price increase. I also have bags from various other brands. Bashing Apidura for not being waterproof is poor form - most similar bags are similarly not waterproof. I would recommend, based on what the various I own...

Re: WRT - Scary? Unappealing?

Finally, I do enjoy a tough route, but generally I see a hike a bike as being a means to an end, and a connector between two good bits of riding. I’m slightly put off riding in a new area if it’s going to be guesswork whether any or all of it is rideable. This^ I've zero interest in HaB as type 2 f...

Jamie, so you'll arrive in Barca on thursday 10th at 10.20am with Ryanair and depart on Sunday 20th at 10.40 with Easyjet? We finish on Saturday 19th in the afternoon and given your departure time (the others are not until teatime) it may be sensible to get a taxi with your packed up bike. It's abo...

Re: Spanish C2C 2018 Hands Up Who's In?

Jamie, the flight from Edinburgh to Barcelona should be on the 10th ie Thursday to give you time to get to Tarragona for a morning start on Friday 11th. There is another rider coming from Edinburgh ive advised him to get the flight that gets to Barca at 10.20am as another guy is flying in at 10am s...
