Garmin Fenix 3 (non-HR)

Having bought a fenix 5 sapphire my fenix 3 (non-HR) is now for sale. About a year and a half old. Have original receipt somewhere. Complete with box and all accessories. can multiple cadence sensors be paired with a garmin Edge 1000 or Fenix 5? but only one in use at a time. for cadence sensor on different bikes. anyone done this? As a bike packer my friends think I’m nuts (they might have a point); however, a bike packing event in January in Wales ....surely that is another level of crazy??? :o

Partly why I had wheels built with straight pull spokes.
In theory a spoke will be replaceable with the cassette or rotor in place.

Spares for the bike and trip.
Be it a spare inner tube, or a backup means of navigation.
Both add weight, so according to TLS are bad and evil :lol:

TLS and “spares” for multi day trip

TLS teaches us not to carry spares as they are evil and unnecessary weight; however, all rules are there to be flexed somewhat.

So, what spares /backup items would people carry on a multi day (call it one to two weeks) trip?

Would be interesting to hear from the masters of TLS.

This will get me kicked from the group ....will get my coat and close the door as I leave. For the Iceland tour used a front rack and put the bar bag on the top of the rack. Kept the bars free of clutter. Though I was using panniers. Also use a rucksack, though it tends to only contain delicate item...
