Re: Dirty 'Free'ver (sort of)

Afraid to say but I can't make the new dates. My partner is off to Australia to see her daughter around this time. Re: Wild About Argyll Trail

That's the one. I made use of some of that route last year cycling from home to near Oban for a family holiday. What I did of the route was cracking and I had brilliant weather. Plan to do a bigger chunk of it this year.

Re: Wild About Argyll Trail

HTrider phil put up a route last year covering a lot of this, I think. Maybe called The West Highland 500.
I did a chunk of that for summer solstice last year and loved it.

Great area to ride in.

Re: Dirty Reiver '18

Cool that's half a plan already. I prefer whisky but only expensive stuff hence cheap rum for camping. What sort of distance do we want? over 2 days? A day ride or One night will probably be all i can get approval for and not too concerned about the distance, interesting is more important for me. p...

I did the second one. Cold start but beautiful day in Keilder. Not the most exciting of routes but pretty sociable. Price has gone up a bit and a little rich for me now. I had a similar time to restlessnative. Phil, you will be capable of doing it a lot quicker. Will you do it on your new Surly Stra...

Re: Anyone made any 'pogies' ? hand warmer thingies ?

Used left over cordura and merino wool from old jumper for mine and waterproof material and fleece from old dressing gown for my daughter. I used a connecting piece of material between the ...
