Re: Ukhammocks

That is a shame. Bought a good few things from Ukhammocks in the past. All good quality and still going strong. Several hammocks, chair and underquilt. Hope they get it sorted and you get a refund Cheeky Monkey.

Re: Scottish Spring Thing

Looks like the weather was very kind. Good write up Gari. Cracking photos too.
What I've learned about biking with Ray- his route choice involves hills and usually goes the long way round  This looks like one to add to the list to try out.

Sounds like a cracking trip Phil. New bike looks good too.

I took a note of your alternative route to the SUW and plan to have a go on it this year.

I'd probably find it chilly round my shoulders if I used the thermarest one. And for £90 you could pick up an Underquilt.

I have a jacks r better uq which converts to a quilt. I used an uq protector to boost its rating in colder months.

Re: Them there Pole a bear poles Stu is flogging..

I usually pitch in "standard mode" as Noted above by Bearbonesnorm or Storm Mode from the link with a120cm pole. Bike or stick or another pole if I've brought it, for the door.
