cross fell and Dunn fell are riddled with shafts and tunnels, mined for both silver and gypsum amongst other things.going to be biving up there later in week weather not been to horrendous

Going on my first solo adventure in years ( normally take my eldest son ) so I’ve uploaded to me old MP3 a heap loads of Ozric tentacles albums Aboroscene ,strangitude etc.
Hopefully they’ll help me muster my muse and finish my book of poetry whilst away in the hills

My plan is to head up from near Kirkpatrick Fleming on the m74 service road to Moffat then head over to St Mary’s loch then pick up on the southern upland way and either wild camp there or use the bothy at potburn
