Think you can run the Garmin directly from a USB cable from a Powerbank
Need to select Garmin mode instead of USB / Storage
Maybe just Etrex30
I will await either confirmation from the forum, or to be corrected.

Saw this on the local Gumtree

Probably solid testimony to many happy hours in the shed !
Not sure of the handling - but think the SA on the front wheel is an interesting take

Terra Nova Laser Large 1 Tent (like Starlite 2).
This is a high quality lightweight tent in very good condition - fairly sure it was made in Derbyshire. I bought it new a few years ago for backpacking with my partner, and used it overnight for just a few weekend trips before storing it indoors. It was always used with a homemade protector under th...

Re: OS Mapping now on cycle.travel
I really like their site and use it quite a lot. It's a shame that you have to pay when I already have an OS subscription. I tend to create routes in their site and export to OS for editing I don't want to put anyone off, I am sure it is free. If you register (for free) you get some extra features....

OS Mapping now on cycle.travel
This maybe of interest https://cycle.travel/news/cycle_travel_now_has_ordnance_survey_maps I believe that cycle.travel uses a more sophisticated algorithm than Google maps etc to identify quiet roads. Maybe not as useful for off-road routing, but my go-to for getting between two places on tarmac.

Re: National Cycle Museum in Llandrindod Wells
My Golden Sunbeam - estimated from the frame number to have been built in 1916 has a number of "modern" features : 1. Asymmetrically drilled aluminium rims 2. Two speeds via an epicyclic gearbox on the front chain ring 3. Totally enclosed chain case that is part of the rear chainstay. Seem...

Re: Mix & match. Cam-ano gears
An interesting take on Shim- ergo Before Shimano started to hide cables under handlebar tape on their cheaper shifters I ran a lot of mixed set ups - big Shimano cassettes and Shimano mtd rear mechs with Campag shifters and various tweaked chainsets to get the hill gears that I needed My gut feeling...

Re: Planet X lights?
Just seen this, and the light / battery / usb cable is now £12 They are claiming 4800mAh from a pack that contains 2x 18650 batteries. Don't know how it compares to : https://chilli-tech.com/content/960-lumens-cree-bike-light-also-450-lumens-100-lumens-mode-dip/ But their 5200mAh battery pack, avail...

Wheelset WTB STi19 TCS QR Front and Rear Now £75
Do need these gone, so reduced to £75 Long story short, Mango bikes were selling the rims only at a good price that I ordered, but they made an error and did not have the hole drilling I needed and sent the wrong ones. To compensate they sent me these for £85, so happy to pass them on now for £75. N...
