I've not got round to trying the Minimus gloves yet.

My go to packable lightweight glove are the Buffalo pertex / pile mitts. Great when it is wet and cold.

That map is shocking.

This event has been going for long enough that anyone who is seriously interested in an entry should know what the score is with securing a depart place long before October.

I've read a couple of accounts of people doing a similar route in reverse on the road.

Lots of danger traffic in the North.
