Re: The BB 200 Thread
Not to put anyone off though. As someone 'average' i managed to get around in ~30 hours (cant find the times). More of a case of pacing yourself and turning out the miles. Sounds like you had an overnight stop then? How many people normally ride straight through, and how many stop for the night? My...

What's the biggest hurdle to overcome? (I realise this is based on opinion...and that's what I'm after)
Depending on this answer to this, I might consider it
Also, could I look at the route now?, please.

Re: Ultralight weights - sub 25lb?
My carbon hardtail race MTB weighs 23lbs according to the literature. Add a tube and a bottle of water and that's 25lbs. Don't think I would be self sufficient on that....
Ooh hold on.
-Bike + small water bottle 24lbs
- Credit card - 1oz
Total, 24lbs 1oz

That said, his tracker is on the move. I've not been able to look at any social networking updates as I'm at work...“So when your main rival has gone home, the route is on lock down and your nearest competitor is 200 miles away, what do you do?”

I've been using a Garmin Edge 500 for years now (think I have about 3 years of data now...) and I'm very happy with it. I came across an Edge 200 on eBay for £34 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330943792356 so I bought it. This will be used for purely navigational on bike purpose, and all for less money t...

SoBo would be my guess to be first to Brush Mountain. That is where the Golden Spoke was the other year. Mike and Craig are going loads faster than Kurt & Jefe and Cjelllost time with his frame and I think was slower than Paul Attalla anyway. Anyway, I am not always right and I could be wrong a...

Re: Tour Divide 2013
So, looking at the tracker this morning, it shows Mike out infront of Craig. However it is 4.5 hours delay since Craig's Spot updated, and Mike's is up to date. So has Craig stopped for a rest and Mike carrying on? Or are they riding together?

Everyone's feet are different, so what's comfy for one - blah dee blah.
I personally find spesh comfortable, but I don't think they last well.
Shimano seem to fit almost as well, but are lasting a lot lot better.
Speaking in generalarities (is that a word?).

Just a quick thought / something to think about ... I was using my Borah this week (M50 top). I woke up without any condensation at all, not even a tiny bit in the foot end ... everythi...
