Are you saying the light does not work ? Can you bypass the connector and plug light into dynamo hub directly* ( could be switch connector or light seeing hub definitely works) . Yes I bought ALPKIT as it's gets about 4 outings a year so basic is fine.whether the bike in question is a keeper or not
I also have a half frame ALPKIT permanently on my moat used bike and it's aged well over the years of use with no obvious issues yet

To be clear.you preset the message yourself and what the message is and who it goes to. Don't think there is a limit as I had 11 numbers when doing a group Lejog.Preset messages are free
