Re: Dynamo lights

EDIT:My sinewave will flicker if you just push the bike / move it but no idea re K lite and start speed ORIGINAL If it's a wire issue there will be external signs of distress as it's a multitude of thin copper wire wound together ( so really needs a clean cut and a gap to totally fail) . It's pretty...

Re: Dynamo lights

Are you saying the light does not work ? Can you bypass the connector and plug light into dynamo hub directly* ( could be switch connector or light seeing hub definitely works) . Should allow you to know if it's the light or the connector. * Don't have a k lite but assume this is risk free but CHECK...

Re: Custom Framebag Supplier?

whether the bike in question is a keeper or not
Yes I bought ALPKIT as it's gets about 4 outings a year so basic is fine.
I also have a half frame ALPKIT permanently on my moat used bike and it's aged well over the years of use with no obvious issues yet

Preset messages are free
To be clear.you preset the message yourself and what the message is and who it goes to. Don't think there is a limit as I had 11 numbers when doing a group Lejog.

Re: SPOT or InReach?

Does this mean folk who send messages to me get them included in their normal plan? Yes you pay to receive them ( or they are part of your subscription amount) In reach tracking is not available at the £15 rather ( 10p a ping ) The one with tracking is about 35 a month or some such. Basically spot ...

Was thinking about this commuting in today and wondered if anyone had ever made a crank with a number of pedal holes so you could try different lengths...presumably not easy given pedal thread size.
Agreed I would not want to be taller on the road bike

I use time pedals and have no real knee issues Due to pedal strikes, i would be interested to try some 5 and 10mm shorter- given the expense I wont be trying this anytime soon. (PS: riding doesn’t need to hurt or ache, even after a long ride) You were not trying hard enough, if it does not hurt, aft...
