Do you know if there is anything along the lines of the OS maps?
I know they have an Ordnance Survey in Ireland, a legacy of the occupation.

I can buy detailed OS paper maps, but can't seem to find any on an SD card.

Just to say they do come up big, I was issued them and never wore them.

They tend to burn well, I seem to remember!

.....and returned my Oakleys after the WRT, they decided they would rather stay in the sunshine at bearbones towers, who can blame them!
Oh and a set of brake pads after said WRT as they levers were getting closer to the bars than was comfortable on the descents!!

That was a lad on a genesis longitude who thought bike maintenance consisted of changing the chain now and again, bumped into him near Dolgellau and he was in the small ring all the way. Think he was alright as we passed his bivvy and he was standing up.

Hi, just back from WRT and I suspect I may have dropped my glasses by the car in the field as I don't seem to have them any more.

If any body was to find a pair of black/white Oakley racing jackets I would appreciate them back.

Anyway great event and now to rub after sun in my arms and neck!!

Thanks Rich, it was a good ride out and a good shakedown before WRT. struggled in the mud on woefully inadequate tyres, but enjoyed the evening.

Hi, Yep I have done this but I was using the Schwalbe tape.
Not sure about gorilla tape, but I did go around quite far and I can't see why it should be any different.

I was under the impresion KMC made all of Shimano's chains.

Might be they are made to a lesser spec though.

I have wrapped mine in a single layer of cinelli chubby and works fine. It is just around the brake levers and shifters where it gets tricky, as you can't really over wrap them like a set of drops, a double layer could work, but would look and feel bulky.

I did the Icknield way bit last year, and it was good in parts, but a lot of it is footpath and other sections were just impassable, with brambles and nettles, my legs and arms looked like I was self harming. I believe the Peddars way has a lot of footpath sections. Plenty of bivvy spots though.

I use the GPSMAP 62s, works well with gloves, and is fairly foolproof. always gets a fix, will need a different attachment to the bars though.
