7/7 on the run from the sun :-bd August was to on the Isle of Man but a new job is making that unlikely, need to think of an interesting alternative. Come up this way Steve ,meet you down little stretton if you want and a night on longmynd ,will see if Scott's playing too , did have a trip planned ...

I'll think about that one mate too many stories ,and the hangman's tree still there makes for a uncomfortable nights kip , just getting to work on your pedal , as long as no drivers come in with any defects should have it done tonight if not tomorrow mate

So the old lady has just called me to confirm we r not sleeping in our cars overnight on the car park then at the end she said after the council meeting they asked if we were happy to make a donation to the church. So if everyone is happy to do that park there if not there's plenty of other parking...

I'll also bring the katadyn filters at around the same rate so if people want to leave their trail shots and sawyers at home your more than welcome to use that, coped well enough in the LHC in may

Can't change it on my 20 , I just zoom in to 300 m and it makes the line nice and big ,really I should wear my glasses but I've not quite hit the age in my head where it's time to put specs on

Lashed down in the lakes mate , as the boy had most of the tarp I was mainly out on the rain and yep its definitely waterproof just a bit of condensation as I had the clam shell closed fully , better with a tarp for cooking and keeping your kit under though in the rain

trip down to scotts last night ,left scotts place had a ride through the lanes and gravel tracks down to the tally ho ,midges were out in force and it felt like getting hailed on by the little black beasties,after a lovely burger and a few pints of cider it was time to get to the top . only done thi...

I know Stu probably doesn't want to go down this route but a subscription per year for the newsletter and reviews wouldn't be a miss I suppose it's similar to what bikepacking.com have launched but you're right, it wouldn't sit easy with me. A motorcycle forum I use has ad's and a limited PM functionality. Subscribe with a tenner a year, the ad's vanish and you get a decent amount of PM's allowed. You can see who's a subscriber by the "supporter" logo under their user name. As a subscriber the forum I see is very different to...

It's a cheery Tuesday , a pleasant meander up the cut to work ,find out I've only been left the equivalent of 3hrs work for a 12 HR shift :-bd , last shift of the week and looking forward to a night on brown clee Thursday ,all is well this week in my little world
