Re: WRT - lights?

Haven't done the WRT for a while but on a ride like that, I certainly would take some lights.

What happens if a section takes longer than expected or you take a different 'turning' as that path looks more exciting than the original plan or dare I say it, you have an extra pint in the pub...?

Re: BB200

Tips for training? Only have the one mini-voodoo, so not quite the same. Don't train on my days off! Keep Sunday as a family day as that's the only day all of us are off and I like to get out early to beat the crowds with my family. Sometimes get the odd ride in during the evening. Most of my traini...

Re: A video for Stu!

It sort of lacked a story-line (to me at least - left me asking more) but it was a great film. Not s...

Re: Great, another bags/gear thread ;-)

Do the others ride rigid bikes? If so, then they'll be able to pack more in the front harness, this looking like they've got less stuff.

My rigid forks can take up to a 20l bag on the front with no interference

Can't really add to the above but I hope the TCR and his legacy continue to inspire others to ride, to test their limits and above all, to enjoy riding their bikes.

Will be a sombre evening tonight watching Inspired to Ride...
