Shimano Hose Kits - All the same?
I need a replacement front hose for the brakes i recently got of flatfishy as the front one is slightly too short! Are all shimano hoses the same? Or is there something more to it i need to consider?
Brakes are Shimano Deore XT BR-M775

Innertubeshop.com - any good?
After 3 tubes failing on me in less than 2 miles (2 went at the valve and 1 just wouldn't hold air) I need to buy some more. I'm a little weary of buying cheap tubes as the ones which failed were the cheap on one tubes, but 5 tubes for a tenner is tempting. Had anyone bought them before? And before ...

Re: Tell me about - Bivis and tents
I don't have the experience of others, but I'll tell you what I have. I have both, so depending on the weather I am fAced with I can choose accordingly, but prefer Bivi/tarp. I picked up a second hand wild country zephyros 2 tent for £60 from the outdoors magic forum. Supposed to sleep 2 but keeps I...

Re: Trans Pennine Trail - WIld Camping Opportunities
Ive got 4 days penciled in to cycle it, should be possible. Plan is to get the train as close to Hornsea as possible, cycling through to Southport before getting the train home. If im ahead of schedule, i may even cycle home the last day. Appreciate it is not the most exciting of routes and I had th...

Trans Pennine Trail - WIld Camping Opportunities
Afternoon all, Im currently looking at cycling the length of the trans pennine trial with friends in September but am worried about a potential lack of opportunities to wild camp. A lot of the route appears to be rather urban which in my mind brings risks of my bike disappearing. Has anyone cycled t...

Re: Strava Issues
Quite a flat ride for the distance.... ;) You should be able to edit the ride - click on the spanner on the left and select crop. Is the extra bit of track obvious? Have you been around the world in between turning your GPS on? Or, maybe just delete the ride and try and load it again in case Strava...

Re: Alternative Fork for Kaffenback 2
Cheers guys! Looking at it, i can get the Kaffenback frame for £99, but it is in the coffee colour rather than the matt black  . Once i price in a new steel fork, then a trip to the powder coaters means im looking towards £250 which is the same price as buying the f&f from Planet X! Then i ...

Re: Bikepacking tips
Can't believe I hadn't read this thread earlier! It's given me some decent tips! The thought of cycling along the canal tomorrow fills me with dread! I was planning to do it to hebden bridge tomorrow but with how gritty I got cycling only 6 miles home from work along the canal and having to get in a...
