Re: Veloviewer map - explorer tiles

Just discovered that I can't get to it, guessing it's a premium feature only Have others been doing something to g...

If they're the same price, they're probably just a wee bit smaller (as has happened with Wagon Wheels & Curly Wurlies)Thank goodness for Tunnock's, they're still the same price.

The drive through McDonald's, in our local supermarket carpark, has been "essential" for months.

Re: OT question for the over 50's.
58, going on 59, so kind of relate to what you're feeling. I think that it's a combination of things. When you're 10, the year is a tenth of your life, so seems like ages. When you're 50, it's 2 percent, so not so long. Each year that passed, the more sh*t there is to fill your thoughts, and the mor...

Had a buzzard flap down out of the roadside trees, and into the undergrowth on the other side. Just then I saw what he was up to - red deer roadkill in the undergrowth. Must have disturbed the Buzzard, whilst he was eyeing it up. Saw a nicely active anthill, in the forest, too - things are livening up

Basecamp and Etrex 35touch, both with talkytoaster maps, here. I don't mind Basecamp, at all. If however, I'm planning Veloviewer tile bagging trip, then I use the route planner in the web version of Strava, so that I can take advantage of the 'already visited tiles' overlay - then I re-plot them in...

Re: Building a PC
Off the shelf PCs are likely to be slightly cheaper than self build, but are usually specced to achieve a particular price point. The compromises involved aren't always logical or beneficial. For example, they often come with a relatively small amount of memory, in favour of having a slightly faster...
