Drop a line to Guardian, they are bound to want to do a feature on this. "My uplighters are hand made in the UK"
Love it Phil, surprised they haven't called me to be honest

Re: Exposure Uplighting

Neat idea. No risk of overheating? I did think about this but being in the shed it isn't particularly warm and exposure sell the beacon diffusers for roadside repairs/camp use so I don't think they're too concerned. It stands off from the wall to maximise air circulation. It's also ran on the lowes...

Exposure Uplighting

Needed some lights in the shed. Pondered about solar panels, batteries and LED lights then took the easier option. Made some brackets that screw to the shed and then the exposure triangle clamp just drops in. Creates a really nice soft light. https://i.imgur.com/eH6AfTO.jpg?2 https://imgur.com/Q91Lf...

Re: 10 riders who changed mountainbiking tech

I find that bizarre that someone would chime in and state they should be on the list. I'd be happy enough to know that I'd made a difference, wouldn't need recognition in some online article. But maybe that's just me. Do you think he sits on Google, Facebook, twitter etc searching his own name 🤔 Act...

Re: Change of lifestyle maybe ?

Just a little different perspective. I had a very stressful automation design job which I enjoyed until the last 12 months due to a change in management. It got so stressful at the end that I had anxiety before the highland trail, whilst on the ride then once I bailed. I was sallow breathing, but no...

Re: Bikepacking. A sport?

For me I don't think it matters. I enjoy it. I like competing, especially for the last pork pie. If racing for the last pork pie is a sport, count me in. I'd probably win that as well

Re: GRRR. Cracked rim again

Common fault with Stans Arch Mk3's. Mk2's were solid, unfortunately they were chasing the weight weenie market. Changed to Halo Vapour for the wife's bike and SS Blunts for mine. Both seem to be holding up well.

Still got my badge. It goes down as one of my favorite bikepacking events ever. Took me to places I've never been and probably should never go back to...some of them were outside my head

What were the dangerous conditions? Was it the thunderstorms? I was looking to see how bad it was and it seems okay. They bring the aerobars closer and higher putting you in a comfy aero style position without the normal stress on the neck. Works really well. Knowing the price of low volume manufacturing its easy to see the cost, especially when they're shipped in as well.

Don't know what I did in a previous existence, all I know is that it was bad...no custard creams at the supermarket bad (Note: t...

Anyway good luck everyone.
