I'd probably just ride and keep the pressure in check. I guess after a couple of days the sealant may dry a little on the inside, covering the tyre and sealing it for good.

Thanks for sharing. I should try to get hold of his book. It never fails to amaze me seeing people wander off, or ride in this case, often driven by pure lust for adventure and trying to do what most find impossible. It never fails to amaze me what willpower, determination and a bicycle can do. Ther...

Re: Lowest useable gear

I really like to be able to read out my speed at a given cadence (I just tend to count revolutions per a certain time frame - only a rough estimate, but works well in practise) to figure how slow/fast I can go with certain gears. https://www.bikecalc.com/archives/speeds-at-cadence.html For those who...

Possibly up the Dylife valley... I usually head up the track out the back of BBTowers but have come down the Dylife descent... I'd definitely be walking up that. Or it could be the grassy climb heading out the back of the Towers then up towards NYA.. Or pretty much any other direction from the Towe...

massive investment, massive worries that has left me not ever wanting to own a expensive fancy bike. Re: The magic roundabout ...

The SON 150 mm hub, suitable for Jones' Truss has a wider flange than the 135 mm option. No funky spacing needed for the rotor, unless the Truss is even more funky. I'd personally spend some money on the Jones, you've already admitted its the best bike you've ridden.. I'd do the same. Pick your favou...

The thing I wonder is, why the heck do places like Bikerumor even report on drivel like this (or am I being too harsh). Surely Pink Bike wouldn't bother or maybe they would. Re: Winter bivvy....... without a tent ?

Definitely fine Tony, although you do need to be a bit more organised with kit. Most things will have frozen in a tent anyway, but it's worse in a bivy bag - shoes, bottles, water filter, electronics and breakfast all need to be inside or under the bivy bag so they don't freeze Stuff only freezes w...

Re: Winter bivvy....... without a tent ?

No need for a bivy bag in below freezing. Snow won't melt on the bag's fabric. Been doing it like that for 20+ years. Any snow will just slide or brush off. For the temperatures, well it depends. One may guess you're asking for a trip in England. But if you're going to Yakutia/Sakha, you'll suffer b...

I'm a Garmin Edge 8XX user for many years for bikepacking. Now on the 830 and it does what I ask from it. Eg. battery save mode, screen lock (helps in the wet) and connectivity that lets me sketch route(alternatives) on the go from smartphone apps and easily load them to the Edge. It never struggled...

The Machine.
(The Dutch band)
Been listening them for the last 10 days. All of it. Constantly. Still not bored.
Feels like I've listened to them for 20 years.
Waiting to become fed up of it.

Rich, if it's an Airlok, it'll be made of Fabric: 320D Taslan Nylon Coating: PU TPU itself is no warrant for higher abrasion resistency. You may want to look into 400D Nylon with either PU or TPU coating for example. Most heavier denier Nylon seem to come with TPU (anyways) and will have bonded seam...
