Re: So easily could be any of us !

Like most things if you over analyse what we do you wouldn't leave the front door.
It restores your faith in the human race in these difficult times, to see how many people have chipped in to help this chap in his hour of need, after all it could be any of us !

Re: For those who use Exposure lights.

I rode the Atlas Mountain Race with a Toro on low backed up with a Diablo when needed.
The Toro says 32 hours on low but not sure what that equates to in real time but it lasted until just before the finish.

Re: First bikepacking trip

Hi Dave,

I live North of Chelmsford and have several routes that would do the job.

If you pm me your email I will send you the gpx files for the routes.

I parked at a small car park just outside Stonehaugh, NE48 3DY.
The pub at Kielder Village was shut earlier in the year, might be worth checking.
The route is sparse of resupply make sure you have food with you.

Re: 2nd City Divide

I rode it South to North and enjoyed it, the lanes it used were nice and quiet, I didn't like the very short section on the A66 but not any way around that part.
I didn't even think about what type of route it was supposed to be, just enjoyed it for what it is.

Sea to Summit for me, I have been using mine for six years and have tried hard to break it through abuse but it's still going strong.
Next time I will buy an orange one instead of black for visibility purposes.

I love the Ergon GP 1, I had the Biokork type first time round, second time round I had the black rubber type and they are much more flexible and more helpful for hand numbness issues.

The Salsa Fargo Ti is only available in the UK as a frameset, the warranty states that the bike has to be bu...
