Re: Making an inflatable tarp Tent Type thing

Shouldn't if its fastened into a proper holder for it, my air tent had a sewn in zipper that meant it kept shape, I say had as during a storm last week it blew out of the holder and ballooned out so it's now binned :( though the holder for the tube might make it heavier than another method tbh And t...

Re: Making an inflatable tarp Tent Type thing

A velcro in 20 inch inner tube at the bottom covered in mesh and a 29er one at the top to wriggle into with a vent/flap , you can use your pump to put it up and possibly pinch the tube in an emergency;)

Re: A bit of advice if you wouldn't mind bike/frame ramblings

In a slight turn around to my final thoughts, I was offered 220 for my boardman so sold it and got the london road rival 22 hydro with wtb tubeless rims for 480 so I had to go with that I'd be silly not to, perhaps lol seems spot on :)

Re: A bit of advice if you wouldn't mind bike/frame ramblings

That was kinda my thinking bear , I have tiagra shifters but I'd rather have some friction ones actually for the crazy bars but not sure how I'd use them on drops unless the same shifters fit in the end of drops mmm...

Re: A bit of advice if you wouldn't mind bike/frame ramblings

I have from my old mtb Pauls love levers and bb7mtn which were always fine and I've been offered a set of tiagra sti, which I need as my mechs are funny 4700 series ones, and trp spyre with mud covers which I'm led to believe are decent too and I like the idea of easy maintenance on cables But hydro...

Re: Dynamo - Plug 3- Which battery?

I used a cinq5 when I had mine and you could set it to charge at super low speeds it wasnt huge in capacity 3000 iirc but ran devices perfectly and I also charged bigger batteries with that in the middle which worked well iirc I no longer use it so I could sell it if it's of any Interest:)
