Re: BB200 thoughts and observations
Something was nagging at me...and I realised what it was this morning: a comment in a Stuart's 'interview myself' blog post from a year ago: "Right, next up is a brilliant question from Rob, who'd like to know, 'What's your favourite mile of Welsh off road cycling?' That's easy Rob. It's a sec...

Re: Surly leaving no trace...
I think a friend in Cornwall has just purchased one.....
The aim is for him to be able to take his Surf Kayak to the beach & to use it with his business.
I'll be having a look around the show Sunday, thanks to Steve @Shand...

A post of sheer blatant cheapskatery....
Never been before and not entirely sure that there's going to be much of interest?
Any cheap ticket deals around, discount codes etc.
Cheers Rob

Just a note to say, speak to your local RNLI contact, they have a sea safety pack available, free, that includes reflective stickers and a waterproof phone case.... Did I mention FREE!

Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
Count me in. Tee, Jersey or gilet. I could have done with one on this year's Devon dirt even if bikepacking seems to be a once a year thing.
Plus I haven't got a Jersey for the road bike.

Simon Calder was on the radio recently and mentioned that there was no travel restrictions in Russia from two weeks before and after the World cup.
Will that help?

Re: Crossing Devon
West Somerset railway has room for bikes on their trains. The westcountry way mtb is probably a little better sn but not that different, n to s would be fine as all the hips are pigs on Exmoor!
Maybe consider trying to get from Princetown towards Ivybridge and the Bigbury. Sounds like fun.

Re: Show of hands: WRT Gravel or MTB option?
Myself & Darbeze will be on the MTB's, We've got a nice loop planned, hopefully relaxed & in the spirit of the event. Loved the idea of the gravel bike GR's but getting lost on wild untamed bridleways seems more appropriate & can always head back up to Wales for a different weekend later...

Re: Knighton accommodation options ?
How about ending your ride at Knighton.
I'd agree with Norm/Stu that it's better that way. Plus if you get the train to Dovey, you won't have to worry about getting back to your car.
Have fun, it's a lovely ride.
Cheers Rob
