Re: Veloviewer map - explorer tiles
This is quite a useful resource for getting to the more difficult squares: https://rideeverytile.com/tiles/heatmap I dunno what data that is based on but I can confirm it is incorrect. Incorrect in what way - presumably there are some tiles that you've ridden that are not appearing on the heatmap ?...

Re: Veloviewer map - explorer tiles
Moved on to 10x10 after this weekends ride. Next tiles look relatively straightforward, however getting much past 12x12 is going to be tricky. I’d plotted a little SUP trip down the River Dee back to Chester to pick up a further 5 tiles, however looking at the map again this weekend I’d overlooked ...

Re: Veloviewer map - explorer tiles
Looks like the very recent Strava update has included a major overhaul of the route planning. As far as I can see, this means that there is currently no integration back to VeloViewer, meaning I can no longer plot routes with an Explorer Tiles overlay  I've emailed Ben @ V-V to see if he's got...

Re: Veloviewer map - explorer tiles
Very quick response from Ben @ V-V. He sounds busy
He pointed to this post on his FB page.

To summarise:
Unlikely to be getting the overlay back in the short term, but there are a couple of tips to make life a little easier.

Re: Veloviewer map - explorer tiles
Well, I'm a paid-up Strava subscriber and even that doesn't help at this stage.
Subscriber or not - there is no Explorer overlay in the routing.
Cheers for the KML tip, I hadn't thought of trying that.

Re: Prescription cycling glasses for the older and very short sighted
Have you considered laser surgery?
Had mine done over 10 years ago.
I didn't end up with 100% correction - but good enough for driving, so easily good enough for riding/climbing/walking/etc.

Re: Veloviewer map - explorer tiles
Some filthy lanes this morning means I've finally dragged my 29x29 max square North out of the Isle of Purbeck and up to 30x30 for the first increase in about 14 months. More to come this winter. Good effort sir ! I've found how to compare BBoners efforts now on the VVE leaderboard, summat else to ...

Noted gentlemen !! FWIW - do you think the asking prices are fair ? Well - I'm no expert , but they at least sound like a good starting point for a negotiation. Too high to get a speculative buy, but probably right to interest someone who's in the market for exactly that. Truss forks on both ? Wort...

Bryan In the event you end up splitting, I would be interested in a pair of the 710 carbon loops and the diamond 24" revelate frame bag. Appreciate you want to sell complete but just in case you do split I thought I'd get in first dibs. Cheers Phil And if you split - then 2nd dibs on the other...

Whereabouts in Middlewich?- I'm up the road in Northwich, and this seems about par for the corse with a lot around here.. Not really that fun riding around here of late. FFS. I'm absolutely seething here Pete. Fingers crossed this prick gets his comeuppance. Hope you're OK mate.
