Re: Bivvy a month 2023.

If riding to a mates place and sleeping on the floor is within the rules then next winter is going to be a lot more comfortable than previous ones
Nice tale though

Re: End of an era - perhaps.

If I remember correctly didn't you put up a picture of a Pine Martin in the yard last year ? It appears they and their habitat are supposed to be properly protected .
I realise that this is probably a stupid idea but isn't it possible for the wind farm and the rally school to coexist somehow .

Re: Bivvy a month 2023.

After finding out that the epicentre of the recent earthquake in Wales was just about where our SWWB bivvy spot had been it seemed like a good reason to go and have a look to see if there had been any damage to the old buildings at Trefil quarry . So away up the old tramroad from Talybont to the jun...

I love a good cryptic situation and trying to guess what on earth's going on.
Don't worry Reg. Not too long before people will get a chance to slowly shake their heads and mutter, "FFS, what kind of drugs is he on" :-bd

Re: No Sheep 'Til Buxton

This month's Bam is number 50 so when Reg suggested chasing sheep around the Peak District it seemed like a good way to tick it off . I arrived in Macclesfield early enough to find somewhere to park close to the station got sorted out then got sorted out again as one does  As soon as I got to...

Re: Bivvy a month 2023.

This month's Bam will have to be the night out on the Winter event I was hoping to get out on a slightly drier night but it's not going to happen . Psling and myself set off from the community centre and after a long uphill struggle we arrived at the café in Llanbrynmair ready for breakfast . Fully ...
