I briefly stepped out of the back door and was hit by such a wall of sunshine that I couldn't resist. All grey here again now, if it makes you feel any better.

Re: Today's Run

First run of the year in shorts. Up the valley and back through the local woods, past a very unfussed urban fox, blossom on the trees, birds tweeting all around, and squirrels scampering across the path. Lovely.

I see Jasmin is going clockwise. Given this is the direction chosen by the leader, is she in for an easier* time?

Hope Pro2 EVO and Pro 4 can both be converted from 135mm QR or 142mm thru to 148mm boost using the HUB493 conversion kit.

Seems fair. I wonder if they'll still be allowed to run and then be told later, just for maximum punishment?

It's been paid to future you, who now no longer needs to pay a bike shop to deal with your seized bolts.

Well, my cunning plan of not compiling my report straight away, and waiting for Reg to weave his usual excellent narrative as per seems to have worked nicely. All I'll add is that Cavedale was a bloody stupid idea. Some pics: https://www.instagram.com/p/C4sGs7DNsQ6/ https://www.instagram.com/p/C4sHz...

Looks to be all out of regular spit, but I'm sure he could knock up a pack of lightweight special?

How long does it take for your mat to lose pressure?

I awoke in the night the other month with my mat feeling distinctly deflated. Having spent more time than I'd rather stomping on it in the bath and looking for bubbles, I have singularly failed to find a puncture. From a bit of internet research, I understand that mats can go soft due to air cooling...

Re: Older school gravel cx options?

I think most manufacturers have been driven towards thru axle now (Cy from Cotic is still grumbling about it for the Escapade). Something like an old Tour de Fer might be a good option?

Outdry Extreme, "external membrane combined with an inner layer of soft fabric"; sounds like the heavier version to me.
